Keith Tempany Opticians WINS Contact Lens Practitioner of the Year 2010!
The Optician Awards is the most prestigious event in the Optician calendar. Firmly established as the biggest and best awards for the profession an opportunity for people throughout optics to celebrate excellence.
After being a finalist last year, Keith Tempany has this year won in the category Contact Lens Practitioner of the Year 2010. The ceremony took place on 17th April at the London Hilton Park Lane and The Optician Awards 2010 was hosted by Marcus Brigstocke. His Radio 4 credentials were a hit with the guests that did make it to the 'Paris in Springtime' themed event, which boasted mime artists, street caricaturists and accordion players.
Once the awards were over the fun didn't stop - guests danced the night away and played the tables in the charity casino. All the proceeds will be added to the Optician Triathlon Team’s fund and donated to the optical charity Vision Aid Overseas.
